What is Life Coaching?

A service in which someone, trained in helping people identify their thoughts and belief systems, guides others in a supportive and non-judgemental environment to identify the thoughts and belief systems that are no longer serving them. A good Life Coach never provides you with the solutions to your problems; rather, they help you find your own solutions and provide accountability as you journey through your life's transformations.

Life Coaching Services

The good news is, Better Health Life Coaching will work with you to identify your belief systems and thoughts that are keeping you on the "hamster wheel" and guide you as you replace them with belief systems and thoughts that will take you off the "hamster wheel" and put you on the path to improved wellness.

One-on-one Coaching

This is a 16-week program that includes 16 weekly sessions and access to your Life Coach for questions in between your sessions. You will have Life Work curated from your goals and what your Life Coach identifies that you need to work on. The Life Work is not intended to be burdensome; rather, it is to create new belief systems and habits that will help you achieve your defined goals.

Group Coaching

This is a 24-week program that includes an initial 1 hour session, weekly group sessions and weekly 30-minute coaching sessions in between to help you stay on track.

Janice is a wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable professional who listens to where you are at mentally and emotionally and physically. She takes in all that you tell her on your initial session to get to know you better. She then begins to develop a plan with your input and weekly assignments are given. They are food for thought, journaling, goal making, and overall how to turn your ideas of negativity into positive thinking. She has been wonderful at helping me find the strong side of me again after the loss of my husband and dealing with a child with severe anxiety and depression. I am now returning to being even more of a positive role model for my daughter, and planning a future that makes me happy. Change doesn’t occur overnight, but if you follow what Janice tells you, encourages you to do, you will change the things that have made you seek out a life coach. One step at a time, one day at a time. Do your journaling, planning, goal setting, and take time to love yourself. If you aren’t happy and taking care of yourself, then you won’t be able to be there for your family. You can’t give to others when your cup is empty.

A very wise person has told me, that your mind is a powerful thing. If you have positive thoughts and know that you can make things happen, then good things will come. You have to believe it, and speak it into existence every day.

It would be a mistake, in my opinion, to not have Janice for a Life Coach. The compassion and positivity that she exudes is inspiring to those that experience it. My life is so much better having her as my Life Coach. I am believing in myself and my future again and remembering how to be that strong, successful, professional, while also being a positive role model and loving mother to my beautiful daughter.

Janice changed my life! I went to her originally for extreme body pain. Doctors didn’t seem to be able to help me and only wanted to prescribe pain medication, which I refused to take. Janice walked in and said, “So, tell me EVERYTHING about you”. I was shocked that a Dr. cared about anything in my personal life. I knew that past trauma was contributing to my body pain but I didnt really know what to do with that. I have been in 18 yrs of therapy, numerous psych meds and every holistic approach I could think of. Janice taught me how my thoughts drove my actions which lead to my feelings therefore creating an outcome. Did you know how may feelings we actually can identify that we have? It took a minute but I applied the life coaching skills over and over until it became second nature. I also was struggling with the change of becoming a parent to a young adult rather than a child. That was a hard one, learning to let them fail and succeed and not micromanaging. I also learned how I can’t change someone else and have no control over their actions. Again, it took a minute but Janice was by my side every step of the way. She coached me! She cared about me. I am truly thankful for the rest of my life for her services. To date, I take body pain day by day but a lot more good days than bad. I am a work in progress.
